"Beautiful fossorial species from Singapore. Looks similar to “Bach Ma” but with brilliant purple femurs. Gets over 6 inches as adults. The label on this species has been complicated over the years, but is considered nomen dubium these days as the type material has been lost. It was first described in 1907 by Norwegian entomologist Embrik Strand. "
